Cookie Policy
This Policy explains how we use cookies and similar technologies on vexqen.com and how it integrates with Google Consent Mode v2. On your first visit you will see a banner that lets you accept, reject or configure by category.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small files stored on your device when you visit a site. They are used to remember preferences, measure use or show relevant communications.
2. Categories we use
Necessary (always active): enable basic operation. Analytics: help us understand how the site is used, with aggregated data. Advertising: enable relevant communications outside the site (Google Ads). Personalisation: remember your language preferences and experience.
3. Google Consent Mode v2
We implement Google Consent Mode v2 with an initial state of “denied” for all optional categories. Google tags are loaded respectfully: as long as you do not grant consent, the storage of advertising and analytics identifiers is not activated. When you accept, the state updates and the cookie_consent_update event is pushed to the dataLayer.
4. Persistence of your choice
Your choice is stored locally (localStorage) under the key vexqen_consent_v1 and is re-applied on subsequent visits. If you clear cookies or storage, the banner will appear again.
5. How to change your preferences
You can change your preferences at any time via the “Manage cookie preferences” link in the footer. You can also clear the site data in your browser to reset your choice.
6. Third parties
When you grant consent to the advertising category, Google Ads tags (AW-18064110603) are enabled. Google may process identifiers under its own terms. You may consult Google’s policy at https://policies.google.com/technologies/cookies.
7. Data redaction and URL passthrough
We enable ads_data_redaction and url_passthrough to reduce the information shared when there is no advertising consent, while keeping the site working correctly.
